Dogs....

Considering I have never even had a dog, they seem to appear at LucyMadeThis quite a lot.  The 2 keyrings below can also be made into brooches which I think would look lovely.  If you were feeling in the mood they could even be hair snaps :).  Also available in any colour.  Mr LMT designed these himself so you won't get them anywhere else and if you do...someone copied!

Am also toying with the idea of making them into book marks...will maybe make a prototype and share it so see what people think.

Thanks for looking :)

Neglect....

is the only word for it.  To be honest, I set up this blog and then promptly forgot about it.  But it is important as I need to record the progress of things I am making, store photos of things I have made and generally try to be more present on the internet as LucyMadeThis, if you see what I mean.

So Fridays are now a designated weekly LMT round up :)

And this week several things went out to customers.  One in particular but i can't give too much detail as one of the things I made if for a Christmas surprise and I wouldn't want to spoil it!!

I'm toying with the idea of family trees.  The only problem is if families expand.  This one was done with the leaves being added on magnets but I am not 100% happy with it

But I can update you with pictures of things I have made and am working on :)I know it is only October but Christmas arrived in the summer here in terms of making.  These are going to be available on my facebook page and can either be as hanging ornaments, hair snaps, brooches or keyrings

A dahlia hair snap I made for myself for my friend's wedding in the summer.  I have made several of these in different colours for a customer as brooches and I think they may have been put away somewhere safe ready for December ;)
A needlecase commision.  The light was bad but this is red and one of my lovely customers wanted it to be a black and white cat. I can do these in all colours...just drop me a line or look on my facebook page

Quite a while ago when I first started using felt I discovered a lovely lady, in Singapore, called Jeanette, who is incredibly talents as a designer and also sold the most amazing felt.  It was exactly what I was looking for. I blogged about something here that I made from her book but she has loads of new designs here  Sadly, the company out their prices up and she no longer stocks the felt but the pattern above, things for a certain hungry caterpillar to eat, are from one of her new patterns.  Look at her Etsy shop here.
She is also very generous and,a s long as she is credited for the pattern, she is happy for me to make things from them to sell.  I have a list for this set already :)

More later x
